HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2011

The end of 2010 is coming to an end!! In 3 1/2 hours it will be 2011!, This past year seemed to fly by, April seemed like it would never end and then summer was here and gone before ya knew it and now winter is here and the end of the year!! WOW!! I am excited to see what God's plan for us this year is!! Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Keep safe and God Bless

BUSY!

I finally have a break from the Bakery,....(Saturday) Our Ladies meeting in Milan was wonderful, we had a wonderful dinner and exchanged candles and then went out to the cabin with our husbands and sang songs and fellow shipped some more!, We always have a wonderful time with our Church Family!!!
THEN THE SNOW CAME!
yesterday(Sunday) we received 3-5 inches of SNOW! We couldn't go to Church, So we stayed home, relaxed and watched movies and we ate deer steaks!!!

Today(Monday) they(county) haven't cleared our roads, we live on country roads so there always last!, and Todd couldn't go in to work so he is home! we hope to make it out, I have to go to the Chiropractor, I really need an adjustment!!,... So we will see!!

Bakery update!

We had our grand opening the 4th of September! and was a great hit!, We also had a big weekend last week, the 1-3 October was Canal days in Metamora! We kept really busy those 3 days!, we took this week off to rest and gather our strength for the Christmas walk, it starts the Friday after Thanksgiving!!, have a few weeks before it starts but we will be getting our list together of what we want to make and start on that!!, We will be baking apple pies today!! We had an order for 6 of them and need it tomorrow!!!, Love our bakery, I will post pics soon!

Tomorrow is the love of my life's Birthday!! We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary on Monday!! Had a great day together! Going to have a great weekend! Todd Preaches Sunday in Patriot, IN. All services Sunday, its a 2 hour drive so we will be staying there for the whole day!! Hope every one has a great weekend!

Bakery!

We are getting closer to opening our bakery up, we have the kitchen almost finished only thing to do is paint the walls and trim and caulk a few places and get the stove in and then have our first inspection from the heath dept. and then we are in business!!! So excited to get it up and running! Can't wait for Canal days!! Have a great Friday!! Enjoy your weekend!

Yesterday my brother-in-law Jeremiah was rushed to immediate care, He cut his finger pretty bad they were able to stitch it up and hopefully he won't lose it, the fingernail is gone, We are so thankful that it wasn't any worse! Please Keep him in Prayer!!, On to happier news:

We are almost ready for our first inspection from the health inspector! We will be painting today and then once the pluming is all done and the electrical plug ins are finished we will be ready!, We are very excited to have our little bakery in Metamora, IN. I grew up in this town and have lived here all my life!, We hope we can get it up and running and We can't wait for Canal Days!! Its the first full weekend of October, 1-3 Friday-Sunday!,

Memories!

Wow almost a whole year has gone by and I haven't been blogging!, Well here is a run down since last year, On April 10,2010 My Dad passed away, he struggled with his health since David died and he finally was tired of fighting and that afternoon he had a massive heart attack!, I never thought that it would effect me as bad as it has because we were never that close but boy was I wrong!! I would just love to hear him say Hello and I love you one more time!, My trials are so minamal to others but this one has been hard, losing a grandma and brother and then my dad all within 9 months is really a hard thing! If you are going through anything just remember God's Wonderful Grace!! He will never leave thee nor forsake thee!! He is so real to me and has made Himself known to me these pass few weeks! We have been going through some changes and I know God is in control and He is leading us on the great things!!!

Its been a while since I have blogged!!

A lot has happened in these past few months, the end of June(on Friday 26) my grandmother who had kidney cancer passed away, she was 88 and lived a good long life! My Brother David and his family drove in from Texas they left on Sunday afternoon and was in Indiana on Monday(30th) so that he could do the funeral on Wednesday, We had a great time with them on Tuesday and everyone went home and around 2:00 am on Wednesday(July 1st) he woke up Rachael and said he felt like he was having a heart attack and she drove him to Batesville hospital and they lifeline him to Christ Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio where they put a stint in and he was doing fine at 7:30am the Dr.s were pleased and David asked when can he come home and they told him Saturday well that upset him because he wouldn't make it to the layout or the funeral for our grandma and with in the hour he passed away having a massive heart attack(the stint moved and nicked the main artery)! he was 40 years old! I know him and grandma are in a much better place (Heaven!) but I still miss them and I just deleted his phone # from my cell and cried for awhile because I knew I could never call him and talk to him!! His wife Rachael and the 3 kids, Shelby, Emily and Dave are back in Texas, Shelby is a senior and she graduates in May so they are going to try to make a go of it!! I miss them but get to keep in touch through face book!

My Dad is not doing good right now he has been fighting an infection in his right foot for 3 1/2 months and its in the bone, he is a diabetic and has lost one leg already and right now the Dr.s are trying to keep that from happening but they are not very hopeful we will know on Friday if the antibiotic is working and if he gets to keep his foot!
